Scientific Director, Publications and Medical Affairs (MB-32557423)

This role is responsible for the direction and development of publications and medical affairs projects with a growing medical communications agency. This is a client facing role responsible for developing scientific strategy, reviewing and developing content, and collaborating cross functionally with internal teams. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of a variety of publications projects including manuscripts, abstracts, posters and congress materials

• Review materials for scientific accuracy

• Act as liaison between management, clients, and internal groups

• Develop publication plans and scientific communications platforms

• Ensure deliverables are completed and client expectations are met

• Present information in one-on-one and group settings to clients, vendors and internal teams.

• Proactively identify business opportunities

• Deliver projects that meet the agreed upon objectives, are within the job specifications as defined by client/team and are technically accurate

• Mentor team members by providing leadership, support and motivation

Requirements:

• Doctorate level degree preferred

• At least 5 years of experience working in a medical communications agency environment

• At least 3 years of experience working on publications projects

• Proven success growing and developing client relationships

Compensation and Benefits:

• $130,000 - $160,000 annual salary, commensurate with candidate experience
