Scientific Strategy Director (MB-34115974)
This Medical Strategist role will be responsible for developing HCP brand strategy and overseeing the tactical execution. The role requires a strong understanding of assigned products, the disease they treat and the ability to derive actionable insights from this knowledge. The position will collaborate cross functionally with account and client services, project management, strategy, and creative staff.
Responsibilities
- Training internal team members on the disease state, competitive landscape and the product's mechanisms of actions
- Partnering closely with the client
- Collaborating cross functionally with strategy, account and client services and creative team members
- Maintain strong understanding of client's product as well as competitive products
- Identify trends and insights within disease categories
- Review copy from creative team to ensure scientific accuracy
- Participate in new business opportunities
- Contribute to agency thought leadership activities
Requirements
- Advanced degree
- 4+ years of experience in a medical communications or pharma advertising agency
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment
- Strong communications skills
- Comfortable presenting to internal and external stakeholders
Compensation and Benefits
- $140,000 - $160,000 annual salary, commensurate with candidate experience
