Fully remote with 10-15% travel for work events.

My client, an established world class communications agency, is looking to add a Senior Medical Writer to their team. This role will lead an expanding account in the therapeutic area of neurology. This role will lead content for deliverables such as manuscripts, abstracts, slide decks, & posters, as well as strategic services across publications business.

Job Duties:


  • Perform in the role as primary Scientific Writer by concentrating on 1-2 key client accounts at a time
  • Lead client calls and facilitate client facing initiatives while leading a team of junior writers to show them how to prepare and execute proper client delivery
  • You will mentor and manage junior writers to support them on their career path
  • Adhere to specific client content needs and review all scientific content delivered to clients
  • Utilize therapeutic information experience for strategic publication plans, & new business development proposals and pitches

Content development

  • Deliver content directly to clients
  • Develop scientific communications platforms
  • Develop publications plans
  • Develop and review abstracts, posters, slide decks and manuscripts
  • Mentor and train junior scientific staff


  • 2 years' minimum experience developing publications content
  • An advanced scientific degree
  • Therapeutic experience across cardiology, oncology, & neurology preferred but not required
