SVP Scientific Director (Promo Med Ed) (MB-33792711)

Job Description:

• Hybrid position (2 days in office in NYC, 3 days at home)
• Focus on the Promotional Medical Education space
• Therapeutic areas include Hemophila medication, inflammation, immunology, rare disease
• Work with and assist in developing and acquiring new business
• Develop medical staff, offering leadership and mentorship
• Engage in medical communications strategy and strategic oversight.
• Lead and moderate groups as needed
• Engage in marketing throughout the various areas connected to the business
• Develop educational deliverables including scientific strategy, ad boards, content development, convention activities, etc.

Job Requirements:

• Advanced degree (PHD, PharmD, or MD preferred)
• 12 years' plus experience in the pharmaceutical industry or in medical education/advertising
• Previous experience in promotional medical education
• Ability to serve as an expert in client facing interactions
• Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
• Strong communications skills
• Previous experience with direct reports
• Experience in marketing ideas and products
• A desire to learn and grow and make the world better through the work
• Willingness to travel multiple times per year
