eCommerce Assistant Manager

Our client, a retail company, is looking for an eCommerce Assistant Manager to join their eCommerce department for a 6-months-long contract at their office in Manhattan!

The eCommerce Assistant Manager will work closely directly to the Director of eCommerce, Creative, and Merchandising teams who will be responsible for collaborating with developers to ensure sign-offs and site maintenance, as well as review analytics for the performance and optimization for all online activities.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of professional experience with eCommerce or Marketing.
  • Proficient in CMS and content management platforms.
  • Basic understanding of Shopify (Magento, etc.).
  • Understanding of post-purchase tracking and user generated content platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with developers to ensure sign-offs and site maintenance.
    • Site Maintenance
      • Ensure site does not have bugs.
      • Lead the development of site's functionality.
    • Collaborate with Developers
      • Sign-off on the developer's work as the developers do the coding, and then sends the preview link for the Assistant Manager to test site and provide feedback.
  • Review analytics daily to see performance and optimization of all online activities.
